June gloom is in full bloom. This whole week has been gloomy, cloudy and cold. Where did my warm summer sun go? Please come back soon! Other things that arrive with June besides gloomy weather are short Fridays at Biola. We get to work half a day and wear jeans if we want to. Yay! This morning we had our annual staff training day. 
The theme of the morning was earthquake preparedness. John and Carissa did a great job with the presentation. But I think the highlight of the morning was the presentation of the President Awards. Congratulations to Megan from our office on winning one of the awards!
