June is here and it is definitely beginning to feel like summer! With summer school in session things have slowed down just a bit at work... and tomorrow is our first short Friday! This afternoon Abby, Michael and baby Kate came over for dinner. While we waited for dinner to cook we walked around the yard and picked strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, lemons and avocados. Kate really enjoyed playing in the yard but got a little exasperated at the gnats! So we headed inside and enjoyed baked BBQ chicken, baked sweet potato fries, corn on the cob, and a big salad. Yum!
It is so fun to see how big and talkative Kate is... and she loves Auntie Ruth's shoes! I am so thankful to the Lord for great friends and a wonderful place to live.
