A busy, busy March and April...I've been so busy I've not had time to catch up on what's going on. Margie celebrated her 5th birthday on March 30. I can't believe she is five already. She is growing up so fast. I wasn't there to celebrate but I'll make up for that this weekend =) April 1st was a busy day and that is no fooling! Megan did a great presentation to all the department secretaries at the WebReg luncheon. Last week was full of meeting all week long as we still continue on with the software conversion process. Megan, Chrystal and I met with all of the academic departments to gather necessary information from them. The weekend was a fun one though. Mom, Timothy, Christine and Abby came to LA to pick up Rachel who was visiting from Georgia. Saturday we took the Metrolink train from the Buena Park station to LA Union Station. It was a fun, quick and stress free ride and we were there in no time at all. Grace & Jon also came along for the day. We had fun walking around Olvera Street and seeing the Avila Adobe house. Then we were off to Chinatown a few blocks away. It was lunch time by then and we had lunch at a quaint Chinese restaurant called Hop Louie's. We all enjoyed the good food and reading each of our fortune cookies to each other. The train ride home was a quick one and soon we were home again. Sunday we all went to church and really had a great time of worship watching the children's choir sing songs for Palm Sunday. This week is busy as ever but thank goodness it's short. I'll be driving down to the desert on Thursday after work to spend Easter weekend with everyone. Can't wait!
